Resembling the rose window of a European cathedral, the 'Axoneme' is the cross-sectional protein structure of cilia and flagella. Composed of microtubules and dynein motors, the action of these proteins is responsible for the motion of flagella and cilia and the movement of unicellular algae like Chlamydomonas.

This striking science pendant is 4cm in diameter.

The pendant is 3D printed in gold plated steel or sterling silver, finished with a 45 cm/18 inch long gold plated silver chain, rose gold plated silver chain, or silver chain to match*, and is ready for gift giving with a gift box, polishing cloth, and care instructions.

*While a 45 cm/18 inch fits most, other chain lengths are available. At checkout, write a note indicating your preference.
