Foraminifera 'Leptohalysis' EarringsRegular price 68.00 €
Resembling beads on a string, these earrings were inspired by the foraminifera fossil species 'Leptohalysis'. The design is based on the species Leptohalysis scottii, a benthic foraminifera identified by Dr. Sarita Camacho from samples collected from the Guadiana River Estuary of Portugal. Foraminifera are amoeboid protists that form complex calcium carbonate-containing shells.
These elegant earrings are 3 cm long below the loop and each earring weighs 2g.
The earrings are available in solid sterling silver or bronze and assembled with sterling silver or rose gold-plated silver hooks to match. The earring hooks are nickel-free.
