Stuck to rocks in tidal pools, stuck to boats, sometimes even stuck to other animals, barnacles are nonmotile crustaceans that feed on plankton by sweeping seawater into their hungry mouths with featherlike appendages. The animal itself is protected inside a ring of calcified plates and is related to crabs and lobsters. These earrings represent individual barnacles that you might find cemented to a rock at the ocean, waiting for the tide to come in so they can feast.

The post diameter is 0.9 mm and the diameter of the earring is 7 mm.

The earrings are available in solid sterling silver or 14K gold plated brass, finished with nickel-free earring backs to match, and are ready for gift giving with a gift box, polishing cloth, and care instructions.
