Acropora is a genus of small stony coral and a major component of coral reefs.  Corals are animals and obtain nourishment from photosynthetic symbionts living within them. Several species of this genus are referred to as elkhorn or staghorn coral due to their antler-like shapes. Growing in dense bush-like thickets, Acropora provide a safe hiding place for fish and other coral reef organisms. Acropora species are especially sensitive to coral bleaching due to ocean warming and loss of their algal symbionts.

The coral structure on the Acropora ring is 2 cm (0.8 inches) in diameter.

The ring is 3D printed in polished solid sterling silver and is ready for gift giving with a gift box, polishing cloth, and care instructions.
