This mug design is inspired by the Asian tiger mosquito, Aedes albopictus. The tiger mosquito has a striking white and black design on its body. It is an invasive species, and is rapidly spreading across the globe. Unlike other mosquitoes that bite at dusk and dawn, Aedes albopictus bites throughout the day and transmits dangerous pathogens like dengue fever, chikungunya, and Zika virus.

All ceramic mugs are glossy white with an Aedes albopictus print that retains its luster through the microwave and the dishwasher.

Enamel Mug

The white enamel mug with a silver rim holds 350 ml (12 oz). It's robust enough to take with you on field research or camping. Please wash by hand; enamel mugs are not dishwasher or microwave-safe.
