This unique reindeer design was inspired by the paleolithic cave paintings of Lascaux in Montignac, France. The Lascaux cave paintings, created between 17,000 and 15,000 years BCE, consist of over 6000 figures of humans and animals. Although photos of paleolithic art give the impression that the paintings are flat, the cave walls are curved irregularly and the artists used this three dimensionality to give their drawings form and perspective. This pendant expresses the 3D nature of cave paintings.

The pendant is 1.9 cm (0.75 inches) wide and 9 mm (0.35 inches) long below the loop.

The pendant is 3D printed in solid bronze, 14K gold plated brass, 14K rose gold plated brass, or sterling silver, finished with a 45 cm/18 inch long rose gold plated silver, gold plated silver chain, or silver chain to match*, and is ready for gift giving with a gift box, polishing cloth, and care instructions.

*While a 45 cm/18 inch fits most, other chain lengths are available. At checkout, write a note indicating your preference.

All jewelry ships free of charge from the Ontogenie workshop in Germany. If you live outside of the EU, you may be charged customs or import fees.
