Resembling beads on a string, these earrings were inspired by the foraminifera fossil species 'Leptohalysis'. The design is based on the species Leptohalysis scottii, a benthic foraminifera identified by Dr. Sarita Camacho from samples collected from the Guadiana River Estuary of Portugal. Foraminifera are amoeboid protists that form complex calcium carbonate-containing shells.

These elegant earrings are 3 cm long below the loop and each earring weighs 2g.

The earrings are available in solid sterling silver or bronze, finished with nickel-free sterling silver or rose gold plated silver hooks to match, and are ready for gift giving with a gift box, polishing cloth, and care instructions.

All jewelry ships free of charge from the Ontogenie workshop in Germany. If you live outside of the EU, you may be charged customs or import fees.

T-Shirts, mugs, and art prints ship free and directly from where they are printed, usually a printing company close to your location.
