Coral Leptocyathus Pendant
This unique pendant, which looks like a flower but is actually a coral, was inspired by a drawing of Leptocyathus by Prof. Ernst Haeckel. Leptocyathus is a member of the Hexacoralla, a group of star corals with hexagonal symmetry that are important coral reef builders. The soft-bodied Hexacoralla live singly or in colonies and secrete a hard calcite skeleton. Although the star coral Leptocyathus is now extinct, you can still wear a rendition of its fossilized skeleton as a pendant.
The pendant is slightly larger than 3cm in diameter.
The pendant is 3D printed in solid sterling silver, brass or bronze and shipped with a sterling silver, gold-plated silver or rose gold-plated silver anchor chain to match.
