The Circogonia pendant represents a perfectly icosahedral Radiolarian. This radiolarian is depicted in a tile from Alim Pasht-Han's ARURA vase, created for the Leuchtenburg Porzellanwelten (Porcelain Worlds) museum in Seitenroda, Germany. Circogonia was originally described and drawn by Ernst Haeckel in his book 'Kunstformen der Natur.' The hole in the center of the shell is its 'mouth' allowing the creature's amoeboid fingers to slither out and snare dinner.
The pendant is about 2.8cm in diameter, including protrusions.
The pendant is 3D printed in solid sterling silver or bronze and finished with a sterling silver or rose gold-plated silver anchor chain to match.
