Resembling the rose window of a European cathedral, the 'Axoneme' is the cross-sectional protein structure of cilia and flagella. Composed of microtubules and dynein motors, the action of these proteins is responsible for the motion of flagella and cilia and the movement of unicellular algae like Chlamydomonas.
This striking science pendant is 4cm in diameter.
The pendant is 3D printed in gold-plated steel, solid sterling silver, or bronze and finished with a sterling silver, gold-plated silver or rose gold-plated silver anchor chain to match.
